Obama and the ‘Lost Boys’

To paraphrase the grandfather in the movie, ‘The Lost Boys’, one thing about living in America I never could stomach … all the damn Liberals! Just as in the fictional movie town of Santa Carla, so it is in the United States. There is a small, but deadly enclave of Liberals who terrorize and intimidate the peaceful law biding citizenry of our nation. The Leftist Progressive activists that haunt our country practice a perverse religion of totalitarianism and self-loathing that preaches the total aberration of America and the American way of life. Much in the way that Vampires lure and seduce innocent and trusting victims to their fate, so does the American Left attempt to lure and seduce the average American voter to the fate of socialism. Only twenty percent of Americans classify themselves as Liberal, yet this twenty percent has beguiled and manipulated the machinery of public policy and public opinion to an extent that we are no longer able to see the reflection in the mirror of an America founded on the Constitution.

I have to marvel at the similarities between Vampires and Liberals.

Just as Vampires recoil at the sign of the Cross, Liberals recoil at any mention of God and church and religion. And just as Vampires recoil from the light of day, Liberals recoil when the policies they pursue are brought into the light of day.

As with the bloodsucking, cadaver consuming characteristics of the Vampire, Liberals suck the blood of creativity and motivation out of the free market society as a means of destroying the system from within. Through the masquerade of promising Hope and Change , the modern Progressive Left promises an era of bipartisan, post-racial politics that is the Vampires promise of eternal life. It is the truth of history that the promise of eternal life is only available at the price of liberty and the promise of eternal life is a promise forever beyond the reach of mortals.

There is a great scene at the end of ‘The Lost Boys’ when the kids mom makes a conscious choice to become a Vampire. She decides it is easier to go along with the most obvious sentiment instead of fighting for herself and her family. How reminiscent of the voter who shrugs their shoulders at higher fuel taxes, higher sales taxes, higher property taxes and eventually more government control of our lives. How much easier it is to accept the smooth, well-spoken image of the Vampire rather than risk your name and your position fighting against the perceived popular tide. How much easier it is to accept the smooth, well-spoken media package of Barack Obama than risk being called a racist or a hater or even un-cool or not hip.

Easier would seem to be the common denominator here.

Easier to go along with the crowd.

Easier to not think about it.

Easier to surrender.

Edgar and Alan Frog are the ‘The Lost Boys’ outspoken yet committed Vampire hunters. Treated as a barely tolerable nuisance by a populace lulled into confused complacency by the Vampires song, the Frog brothers refuse to refute their beliefs or their faith in what they are doing. Isn’t it the irony of modern America that the anti-American theology of the radical Progressive Left is merchandised in a highly polished package of mainstream normalcy. Yet in the same fit of ironic outrage the Conservative movement, which promotes and defends ‘Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness’, is maligned as a bunch of out of touch crackpots and haters. Vampires always get good press, it seems.

The Conservative movement is fortunate to have Vampire hunters in Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Jim DeMint, John Boehner and company. Just as the Frog brothers refused to give up their crusade to rid Santa Carla of the plague and terror of Vampires, so does the Conservative movement and it’s own elite league of Vampire hunters refuse to renounce our beliefs, our faith and our willingness to fight for our America. From the professional politicians to the New Media Vampire hunters of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity, we are poised to drive the stake of truth through the corrupt heart of Liberalism.

 

Barack Obama was successfully packaged, marketed and sold by an evil genius team of Leftist millionaires and political deviants. George Soros, David Axelrod, Valerie Jarrett, David Plouffe and the SEIU’s Andy Stern were overwhelmingly successful in pushing forth a novice and naïve Chicago Black Liberation proponent as the embodiment of Change and Hope. Vampires should never be accused of being dumb…. or bad at marketing.

Every Vampire movie ultimately ends with the climatic stake through the heart scene. So, our current plague of Liberal Vampires will meet their fate. Ronald Reagan was the stake through the heart of a recalcitrant Seventies-era Liberal hangover and so will the next Republican President drive the stake of Conservatism through the empty soul of Liberalism. The days of the Vampires have always been numbered, as are the days of Obama and his ‘Lost Boys.’

The Angriest President

Like another bad film starring a topless Maggie Gyllenhaal or another misguided pseudo I Heart Huckabees misfire, we have a President who lives in his own ultimate truth of reality, in which he is a star searching for a venue to display the luster of his destiny. It is indeed unfortunate for Barack Obama to live in a reality that denies him the venue of fame that only exists in the mind of the angriest President. Placed upon a global stage that can no longer be manipulated by George Soros and Oprah, Barack Obama must contend with the tedium of liberal Sunday talking head shows and stale David Letterman sycophancy to convey his dated and discredited creed of Marxism and social injustice. Imitating a B-grade trade show convention speaker for the Peoria Chapter of the Black Panthers, Barack ticks off tired racial clique after tired racial clique, as the over ripened congregation of middle aged activists check their Blackberry's and pick at the stale remains of their catered lasagna in anticipation of the post-convention trip to the nearest strip club.

In a sad imitation of Al Pacino in Devil's Advocate, our angriest President smirks and grimaces and berates and lectures to his captive audiences of union thugs and community activists.  Beating the dead horse of socialized medicine beyond all recognition of the reality of public opinion, our angriest President refuses to step from the enlightened path of his wage against the machine. Hiding his life of privilege and preference beneath the color of rage and resentment, Barack reels fact after misshapen fact at a public increasingly disengaged from the rhetoric of an angry middle aged man. The compulsion of anger has replaced the debate over policy, with emotion and feelings replacing facts and fairness. The only consistent element in Barack's campaign of public enlightenment is anger and glorified moral outage at the supremacy of corruption and white man's greed disguised under the cloak of the status quo.

When all hope of political or moral victory has been exhausted the angriest President refuses to change course or concede defeat. Only knowing the currents of conflict that belong back in the history of the streets of Hyde Park, Barack only knows the theory of the attack. Unable to acknowledge defeat or consider compromise, the angriest President only knows to walk the path he has learned from the disciples of the Weather Underground and the Nation of Islam. This path is the one where he is always deferred to due to his cultural heritage, his politically correct African name and the carefully manicured socialist caricature that is Barack Obama.  Conflicted by the divergent goals of politics and idealism, Barrack is no longer able to resolve the disappointment of reality with the compromise of politics. Anger has replaced the soul of a man who once sought to placate the suffering of his people and lead a nation he despises into a new age of cultural enlightenment and political correctness.

Brainwashed in the classic prose of Che and Mao to be the unthinking and unfeeling soldier of a revolution that never was, Barack sings the song of the pedantic poet who inhabited the unemployment lines in Cambridge and Chicago in the era of post sixties chic radicalism that were discredited when he was still a child playing in the sands of Waikiki. Evolving from Bob Dylan's John Wesley Harding to the casual counter-racism of Kanye West playing for a Katrina opiated media orgy, our angriest President has adopted his classroom learned message of reversing social injustice to his megalomaniacal message of liberal fascism masked as government for the people and by the people.

Living in the alternate reality of the social activist gone Hollywood, where chaos and suffering are gleaned as opportunities to harness the sufferings and dreams of the people he claims to strive for, our angriest President interprets the histories of Malcolm X and Dr. King as unfulfilled shadows of the greatness he feels destined to eclipse. Discarding the history of a nation that has given him the opportunity for greatness, Barack squanders and maligns the greatness of America in a vain and megalomaniacal quest to create the image of a Leader that will eclipse all who have gone before and all who will come after. The realization that this holy quest is fleeting, depending upon the whim of public opinion of the great unwashed masses, only increases the fury and uncivil discourse of our angriest President.

Striking in similarity to the growing smallness of Jimmy Carter during the waning days of his Presidential malaise, Barack is nearing the sweater wearing period of his administration in which he blames his political bankruptcy on the American voter and avoids the image of failure he sees in the mirror.  Embarking upon the tread worn path of mediocrity well known to Democrat Presidents of the past, Barack Obama only knows to proclaim his vision upon the sound stages of Hollywood and other safe havens of the Liberal celebrity carousel. As though auditioning for the tenth round of an e-Harmony ad, Barack breaks out his well rehearsed dog and pony show lamenting the horrors of the American cultural genocide against the oppressed communities of Southside Chicago. Deigning to step down from the pinnacle of the Presidency to the gutter of the modern American celebrity, Barack Obama refuses to bend, refuses to crawl, and he's always at home with his back to the wall, and he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost, and he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross, and he's doomed to be known as the angriest President.

History repeats itself.

This is the first rule of history.

Man is a creature of habit and the lessons of failure are easily forgotten. Time and time again men and women rise through the structure of their culture, yet fail to observe the failures of those who went before them. It is much too easy and gratifying to feed the individual ego with the delusion that I am the One who will succeed where others failed.

I am the One who will make socialism work.

I am the One who will make nationalized healthcare a reality.

I am the One who will lower the oceans.

I am the One who will rectify the injustice done to the oppressed people of the world.

I am the One who will create a new One World order.

I am the One you have been waiting for.

Fascism, the blending of corporate and government into a unified command and control totalitarian regime, is not an American invention, but it is one that has been attempted in the United States. All historical surges of fascism, socialism and communism take advantage of economic recession and depression, when the psyche and morale of the populace is at it's weakest. Fear and panic is the short fuse for the rise of totalitarianism. The evil of totalitarianism knows no national boundaries or observes no legal etiquette. It is a constant threat to all republics and democracies.

Huey Long built a political machine in Louisiana that was based on class hatred and the promise of radical redistribution of wealth. Tax the rich into submission and hand out bread to the poor, while pocketing the difference. "Share the Wealth" was the signature program of Long's administration. The practice of newspaper censorship and the creation of special police units and state boards to shutdown any opposition was the harsh reality of his regime. This is the clearest example of Obama's blueprint for America's future.

Campaign slogans promising change and prophesying hope is the true opiate of the masses. These are the tools used to achieve the only campaign goal that will be realized. The accumulation and consolidation of total power is the final result of the campaign that must be achieved at all costs. Bright shining banners, freshly polished jackboots, bonfires and speeches or the bright pastel logos on airliners flying from one campaign stop to another, these are all the marketing tools of fascism. The times may change and the days of war veterans marching under party banners may have evolved to the modern image of ACORN and SEIU union thugs and Black Panthers intimidating voters, but the ash heap of history is filled with the dreams of the naive and the hopes of the foolish.

Barack Obama is the hero of his own life.

Megalomania is the prerequisite for revolutionaries. Though the standard Leftist histories paint Che and Fidel and Lenin and Trotsky as selfless martyrs who sacrificed all for the masses of the downtrodden, the reality to those who haven't had their brains turned into mush by alcohol addled Leftist college professors, is that all of Barack's heroes were fascists in the truest sense of the word.

Like his idols before him, Barack Obama is consumed by the political deification of being Barack Obama. His only true revolutionary crusade is the compulsion to carve his likeness in the history books alongside the gods that form the altar of his political dogma.

Lenin ended the reign of the Czar and murdered thousands in the name of Marx.

Stalin murdered millions in the name of the People.

Hitler built autobahns and industrialized genocide.

Mussolini made the trains run on time and invaded helpless, backward nations.

Obama promises Hope and Change for those who follow his star.


If history is to be the judge again,

one has to ponder the future of the Republic,

fear for the minds of the people

and tremble for the Fascism of 'HOPE.'

And now we begin the magical journey into the mythical land of liberal unicorns and leftist rainbows. This is a fairly tale land where anger and rage are the natural emotions and motives of all the furry, woodland creatures, gnomes and fairies that inhabit the looking glass land on the other side of a Hollywood sound stage. Among all of these curious creatures that represent every color of the leftist political spectrum sits the all knowing, all assuming, all consuming frowning Cheshire cat, who sits cross-legged upon his uneasy throne. His mysterious, magical majesty the Buddha Barack.

Encased in a gray non-glistening Brooks Brothers suit and black, Allen-Edmonds oxfords, and burgundy guards stripe tie, he nests upon the dominant knoll of his kingdom. Able to purvey all within his view through half opened eyes. Lips pursed in his trademarked firm, strict tightness. Never at ease, yet always aware. Alert to the chaos and disquiet that is the beating heart of all things liberal.


Everything has it's place in the cosmic universe of surreal emotional dysfunction and rage suppression. Radiating a Dexmedetomidine-induced sedation as a mask of supposed wisdom and parching rhetorical political strategies and tread worn socialist pabulum as the essence of Wu Wei, our valiant Buddha Barack, floats in an ethereal haze of profound consciousness, which belies the reality of his rage and resentment for the existing cultural structure of the society beyond the looking glass.


Pronouncing his daily contemplations of the injustice of oppressive American society and worshipped by his adorning minions in the guise of Ralm Emmanuel, Roger Gibbs, Carol M. Browner and other various and sundry fellow travelers, the brave and solitary Buddha Barack is the sublime portrait of languid enlightenment as he attempts to create in his own image the ideal worker's paradise that has fallen out of the grasp of so many of his previous gods and demi-gods. From Che to Fidel. From Mao to Lenin. From McGovern to Carter. All his fallen deities have betrayed his socialist fantasies. So desperate in his tranquility to become the image of the man in his father's dreams, Buddha Barack pursues the punk attitude of early Blink 182 and the Euro-global star catcher egotism of Bono singing for alms for the bottomless abyss of warlord Africa.


Faltering under the weight of the image makers, Buddha Barack lets slip the dogs of his childhood anger and rage at the machine that is capitalist America. Calling forth the two headed hydra that is class contempt and racial hatred,  Buddha Barack strives to crack the mirror and destroy all which he abhors. Thus allowing the leftist world of opposite values, morals and beliefs to pour through the ruptured portal and corrupt and displace the enlightenment of liberty and freedom that is the bodhi of America.

While debasing the innocence of Pooh, betraying the eternal truth of Buddha and corrupting the Three Jewels of Tao... Compassion, Moderation and Humility, Barack Obama has proven that the transparency of dishonest polemics will ensure the destruction of liberalism. The culture of liberalism is the culture of opposites. Immoral is moral, up is down and criminal is legal. As with all fairy tales and magic shows featuring smoke and mirrors, when the light of day exposes the frailty of liberal lies, the truth will drive away the devils lingering in the shadows. Values and morals and grounded beliefs in faith and tradition will always provide light in the darkness.

Herein lies the inevitable but undeniable truth that ends our fable. There are no pots of gold beyond the rainbow. A society without structure or motivation or achievement cannot survive the will of man to succeed. In the harsh reality of the real world, fairy tales and unicorns do not exist and the Buddha in a Brooks Brothers suit is only human after all.

I am constantly asked about the motivations of President Obama.

Is he really that smart? Why is he pursuing a socialist agenda? Does he have a grand plan to collapse the economy? What is he really doing?  Does he know what he's doing?

These questions are on everyone's minds from Rush Limbaugh to Glenn Beck to my neighbor on the other side of my fenced in backyard. Having spent a lifetime being disdainful and distrusting of politicians I always recommend that if you want to know about a politician forget the speeches and campaign promises and look at their life before politics. That is where the answers are usually found.

With the current leader of the (still) free world, Barack Hussein Obama, Junior, the questions about motivation and personality are actually very easily answered. One only has to look at his history and his hero's. Or more specifically one hero.

Like most of his fellow revolutionaries, Barack is a one track kind of guy.

Intelligent...undoubtedly. Charismatic... sometimes. Educated... by academic standards, yes. But he is still a one track, narrow minded personality who only knows the words to one song. Once you get past the sound of the music and listen to the lyrics the song doesn't really make much sense, similar to any Elton John song from the '70's.

In many, many (many ) respects Barack is the conscious reincarnation of his childhood and college days hero, Che Guevara. Except Barack lacks the intestinal fortitude for actual physical combat that Che displayed in Cuba, the Congo and Bolivia. Like his foster parent, the Reverend Wright, Barack preferred his battles on the streets of the South Side of Chicago when the news crews were filming and his nights spent up in the cushier and safer confines of Chicago's Gold Coast raising money for his next political campaign.

Che Guevara, unlike his sometime bed-partner and fellow drag queen Fidel Castro, was a pedantic, rigid , Marxist puritan, who preferred confrontation over compromise and was totally and completely unable to tolerate any disagreement with his divinely inspired viewpoints. Che's way of dealing with political or cultural descent involved a firing squad and the command , "Fuego!", which I'm sure would suit our current President just as well.

The rigid dedication to his doctrines and beliefs in the universal truth of socialism is the hallmark of any typical leftist college professor who hasn't spent a day in his life lifting more than a textbook or a glass of wine at a college fundraiser at Occidental College or Columbia University. Everything Barack eats, sleeps and breathes is classroom rhetoric which never made it past the reality of the core requirement of  freshman, "Political Philosophy 101." And like all professors in the self-contained empires that are their classrooms, he is accustomed to not having anyone disagree with the moral certitude of his viewpoint on all things pertaining to social justice, blah, blah, blah.

So, now we have Professor Barack 'Che' Obama giving the real working classes of America classroom lectures about the merits of national socialism and the evils of free market capitalism. I feel like I'm time warping back to the early '80's. Any moment I  expect to hear Boy George and the Culture Club strike up "Karma Chameleon" or "Church of the Poison Mind." Yikes!

As history proved almost 40 years ago, Che's brand of  ideologically rigid, Maoist-inspired socialism failed miserably when applied to the real world of the Congo and Bolivia as well as the reality of post-revolution Cuba. It was the leadership and political ability of Castro that created and evolved the revolution in Cuba into a permanent dictatorship instead of a utopian workers paradise that Che fantasized about.

For all the poetic innovations for class struggle and class warfare Che Guevara preached, in the final analysis his politics of puritanical Marxism failed in the same way that President Obamas politics of puritanical socialism will fail. Americans don't take well to being lectured by the elite, especially by men who only know how to run a classroom and recite someone else's words off a teleprompter.

One Che Guevara is enough. We certainly don't need Professor Barack 'Che' Obama scolding us for not doing our homework assignment or not paying attention during his lectures about the evils of America.  Class dismissed.

From my observations over the past few decades of Liberal watching, which I must say is a very frustrating pastime, I have come to the realization, or should I say epiphany, that for all the Liberal ranting and raving about God and religion, Liberals do indeed worship a god (small g) of their own choosing.  They worship upon the alter of Anger and Rage and Fairness.  Pelosi, Reid, Frank and the newest cherub to descend upon the Beltway from the clouds, Al Franken, include into every phrase or title or bill some variation of the word Fair, Fairness, Equal, Level Playing Field, Global or just plain Comrade. The list can go on for days, as can they, and like all true religious zealots anyone who disagrees with them is the worst kind of bigot, racist, sexist, homophobe, blah, blah, blah. Much like the godfather (small g) of all these Lefties, Karl Marx and his "special" male patron Fredrick Engels, who co-pioneered the philosophy of class envy and hatred, Liberals are arrogantly and blissfully content with the hypocrisy and double standard of their lifestyle.

Not unlike Hitler turning against the Jews who had befriended him in Austria when he was a starving young sociopath, Marx turned against the class of people who had aided and befriended him when he was starving and unable to provide for his family.  While going through his limited family money and then squandering the funds from his poor deluded wife, Marx wrote and theorized, a typical Leftist pursuit, about the denigration of the poor working classes by the oppressive elites and so on and so on.  I've always found Marx speaking on behalf of the working classes a little humorous considering he never did an honest day's work in his life, other than giving his “patron” Frederick Engels daily foot massages.  But, of course, this is what Liberals do, as they try and achieve a balanced emotional state without the benefit of mood altering medication. Only by yelling, berating and denigrating Conservatives, America and anyone who has the misfortune to be within screaming distance of them are Liberals are able to achieve a Zen-like state of calm and inner peace that only the true sociopath knows.

Nancy Pelosi, Ted "Wrong Way" Kennedy, Al Franken, Harry Reid, John " I Only Marry For Money" Kerry and the list of Liberal 'Champions of the Oppressed Working Class' goes on and on and what is the one thing these self-anointed saviors have in common...uh, wait a minute. Almost got it... Yes, you're right! They are all millionaires several times over and they have all earned their money the old fashioned way. By stealing it or in Ted Kennedy's case his dad stole it.  Hypocrisy your name is Liberal. 

The next time you see a flock of familiar Liberal/Democrat politicians gather around a microphone, any microphone, and their faces are contorted in anger and disgust at the evil that is America, just remember that they are all richer than you and I could ever hope to become in two lifetimes.  They have their own limos, private jets, personal armed security guards, multiple homes, wives and girlfriends, as well as being on a first name basis with the crème de la crème of the top leftist morons of Hollywood.  Rumor even has it that Nancy Pelosi has a private chapel build into her Senate office for private prayer sessions before convening the House of Representatives.

So anytime Liberals begin to make you feel guilty about not being poor or angst about how evil America really is or even about the injustice of you being alive just remember who these people really are and how they really live when the cameras aren't rolling.  Visualize, if you will, the image of Nancy Pelosi in her private Senate office chapel. There she is kneeling on her alter of bleeding hearts and making her peace before God as she heads into battle with the evil legions of Conservatives. Genuflecting to the holy sacrament of Das Kapital , crossing herself and saying, 

"...the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost of Marx.”

Vice-President Cheney, the self-proclaimed Darth Vader, is
 
currently defending the legal and extra-legal means employed by the Bush

administration to gather information from terrorists real or imagined.  While the

left and their assorted allies in the 'old' media are trying to push the criminalization

of the Gitmo activities, without drawing Speaker Pelosi into it, the Vice-President

has single-handedly gone on the offensive to protect his reputation and the

reputation of the Bush administration.  If ever there was a man that the elitist

media talking heads needed to avoid it would be Richard Cheney.  The unique situation

 with Vice-President Cheney is that he isn't interested in politics or being elected or

 getting good poll numbers.  He is only interested in one thing. The safety of the

United States from enemies within and without is the primary and overriding

concern and goal of the Vice-President and his staff and counsels.  If, and that is a

 BIG if, Mr. Cheney and his staff bended or flexed or manipulated the letter or

intent of the law to properly or improperly determine information that involved

terrorist attacks upon America, then he will be judged by history for being one of

the few men in our history that put the good of his country over the needs of his

political career.  Thank you Vice-President Cheney for staying on message.

Sarah Palin is in the unfortunate position of being the front runner for the GOP

nomination in 2012.  As much as I agree with Mrs. Palin's political positions and as

much as I appreciate Sarah's rock star persona she will NOT be the GOP nominee

in four years.  Apart from the obvious logistical difficulty of living in Alaska and the

difficult political reality of governing through her first term as governor, Mrs. Palin

has garnered enough personal and political negatives to last any other two

politicians a lifetime.  As the lighting rod for the extreme media bias during the last

election cycle, when she had the distinct misfortune to be plunked out of the

Alaskan wilderness to be Granny McCain's token Conservative running mate,

 Mrs. Palin has been the well documented whipping girl of the media elite to the

 point that Mrs. Palin has been damaged past the point of no return in the eyes of

the general unwashed and uninformed public.

While this is certainly unfortunate for Mrs. Palin, it may well be a boon for another

GOP candidate in waiting who is slip streaming behind Palin and her high profile

windscreen.  Whether it be Jindal or Stanford, or even Barbour the yet unannoited
 
candidate will benefit from the lack of exposure to themselves by the media and

when the media does go into attack mode the yet to be named GOP nominee will

also benefit greatly by the self inflicted damage that the media has sustained upon

it's own questionable reputation.  It should prove to be an interesting four years to

Democrat Speaker of the House, Mrs. Nancy Pelosi, a high profile far-left Liberal

within her party, is coming under increasing fire from within the ranks of her fellow House Liberal

Democrats.  Mrs. Pelosi has apparently been hiding the fact that she was briefed on the Bush

administrations extreme interrogation tactics, especially the practice of water boarding.  While this

tactic of questioning suspected Muslim terrorists has become the latest issue the Democrat

leadership is attempting to exploit as a means of covering the far-Left agenda of President Obama,

Mrs. Pelosi has been discovered as having had knowledge of this tactic during the height of the Bush
administrations War on Terror.  An outspoken and harsh critic of any and all tactics of interrogation

used by the Bush administration, Mrs. Pelosi has become the object of increasingly intense

speculation concerning what she knew about water boarding, when she knew it and why she has

denied any knowledge, much less approval, of this tactic.  There is a growing chorus within the

Democrat caucus to use this current issue as a means of removing Mrs. Pelosi as Speaker of the

House and leader of the Democrat liberal wing. This issue is considered by many as a prime

opportunity to remove a high profile politician that many fellow Liberals feel is detracting from 

their social agenda.  Some of the wildest speculation has centered on Rep. Barney Frank's

assumed desire to ascend to the Speaker's chair by using a backdoor method of circumventing the

long line of Democrat Speaker's -in -Waiting.  It is yet unknown if Rep. Frank, the first publicly gay

Congressman, would be able to fit in Nancy's shoes.

Smart Car Politics

I live and work in the Atlanta metro area and in the course of my travels I visit many different parts of this vast and divergent city.  Atlanta like many cities across the nation has a variety of political opinion and party affiliation based upon the politics of which area of town you live in.  And like virtually every large city I am familiar with the downtown areas of Atlanta are overwhelming liberal Democrat. This includes the very rich and very white areas known as Buckhead, Mid-Town and Vinnings.  Big mansions, big money and usually big cars.  Usually.

While winding through the nefarious downtown traffic we consider normal I found myself following a bright new yellow Smart car. As we inched along West Paces Ferry in one of the wealthiest, old money areas Atlanta has to offer, I was astonished and then bemused to see the bright new yellow Smart car pull through the electronically controlled gates of one of the biggest and most over the top U2 lead singer style mansions along this avenue bursting with over the top nouveau rich fake Southern mansions. 
 
Of course the conclusions and observations are obvious to anyone with barely a middle school education, which includes the majority of liberals (ouch), but what better and deliciously appropriate example of the herd mentality and flagrant hypocrisy of the elitist Left could  possibly be presented and on a silver platter no less. Yummy!

Oh, I forgot to mention the customized vanity plate.... "B Smart" .  Seriously, folks I couldn’t make this stuff up.

It's just another example of Spielberg/Soras style politics. The politics of Pelosi and Clinton and Kerry… millionaires all.  Play to your false self-aggrandizing ideology when traveling among the unwashed masses, but at night make sure you are able to put your slippers under a king-sized bed in a king-sized mansion.  Smart car politics at its most obvious.

I can't help but think of the overwhelming financial and voter support for Barack Obama which poured forth from the American Jewish community during the 2008 Presidential election. Mr. Obama benefited from overwhelming Jewish support even though his pro-Arab/anti-Israel policy positions were well known among the electorate. It appears from post-election polling data that the days of the American Jewish community standing firmly in support of Israel has been supplanted by an overwhelming loyalty to the Democrat Party or more precisely the extreme Left wing of the Democrat Party and its agenda of social change.

Publicly led by the camera friendly celebrity images of Barbra Streisand and Steven Spielberg and privately financed and manipulated by George Soros and his Democracy Alliance, the Jewish voter base in the United States has realigned itself from ensuring the safety and security of Israel to the rise and cultural dominance of the far-left agenda. Perhaps this subtle but dramatic shift in loyalty and commitment can be traced to the society wide shift from religious to secular that has surged over the U.S. since the sixties. Perhaps it is the generation of sixties radicals now occupying major positions of power and influence in the Democrat Party such as Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry etc. Or, as in most historical movements, perhaps it is a combination of these factors and more that have led the American Jewish community to abandon their traditional support of Israel for Barack Obama and his obvious disregard for the safety and survival of Israel.

Having said all this, I do wonder if there will come a tipping point when the American Jewish community will recognize the dangers their choices have created for the State of Israel or will the generations old commitment and struggle to support Israel continue to deteriorate under the weight of Liberalism's questioning of Israel's right to exist.

Where is the point going to be when the American Jewish community abandons the Democrat Party to once again support the right of Israel to exist? Or has the religion of Liberalism replaced the dream of next year in Jerusalem?

Washington, Jun 18 - Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) today issued the following statement on climate change legislation, urging the Majority to allow more time for bipartisan negotiations on the bill before it heads to the House floor for a vote:

"Any bill of this magnitude deserves bipartisan consideration and input," said Bono Mack. "It is clear that Members on both sides of the aisle have deep concerns about multiple issues within this legislation, and I appreciate the Speaker’s willingness to meet with Republicans today to identify these issues as we move forward.

"As I noted in Committee, this climate change bill is far from perfect but sets us on an important path toward a greener, more sustainable energy future. By allowing this legislation to be fully evaluated and incorporating bipartisan input, we can improve this bill for the benefit of Americans across the country.

"I am concerned that bringing the bill to the floor next week is too premature to properly evaluate Members’ concerns and implement needed improvements."

I must admit that I find it a little ironic that Congresswoman Bono Mack posted this blog on June 18th and on June 26th she and seven like-minded Liberal Republicans voted with the Democrat majority in the House to pass the Cap In Trade bill under the guise of protecting the environment. The only environment Mary Bono Mack is apparently interested in protecting is the political environment of the House that Nancy has built.
 

This bill, Mrs. Bono Mack has crossed party lines to support, is so egregious that forty Democrats voted against it. Yet,she is swollen with pride of accomplishment for her bi-partisanship in providing Mrs. Pelosi with yet another turncoat...uh, I mean crossover vote.

Considering that we are over six months into what is considered the most radical leftist regime in United States history, since the first hundred days of FDR, why would any Republican vote for anything the Obama/Pelosi regime puts forward? One must be led to assume that, like Republican turncoat Arlen Specter in the Senate, Mrs. Bono Mack is more interested in currying the favor of Speaker Pelosi, Henry Waxman and the other assorted ruffians and scoundrels that make up the Democrat House leadership than she is in representing the voters of her district and the best interests of her country.

As long as the GOP has members in the House and the Senate who would rather dance to the tune that Speaker Pelosi and her fellow socialists...uh, I mean Democrats, play the Republican Party will forever be a party out of power. I am rather confident that when Speaker Pelosi looks out upon the House from her throne, she sees Congresswoman Bono Mack and her fellow RINO’s and hums the Sonny and Cher classic, "I've Got You, Babe" and you and you and...
